VIRGINIA SAFARI PARK

Win a family pass!

September 8, 2011

Virginia Safari Park, a 180 Acre Drive-Thru Adventure, is Virginia’s largest zoo, and only drive-thru zoo. View hundreds of free-roaming animals and feed them from your own vehicle or from a guided wagon tour. Three miles of road provide up close and personal encounters with herds of  antelope, bison, camel, deer, elk, llama, ostrich and zebra,  to name a few. Babies born in the spring and summer add to the excitement of your drive-thru adventure!

Walk through the 10-acre Safari Village and see reptiles, primates, tigers, cheetah, kangaroos, a wide variety of birds and much more! Don’t forget to feed the giraffes! See and feed the goats, pot-bellied pigs and baby llama at the petting barn!

Located in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Natural Bridge, Virginia, Virginia Safari Park makes a fun and memorable day trip. Minutes from Lexington, and a short day trip from the New River Valley, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Staunton, Charlottesville, and Richmond.

Hours of operation are March–May open daily 9am to 5pm; Memorial Day–Labor Day open daily 9am to 6pm; and September–November open daily from 9am to 5pm. For more information, please visit our website at www.virginiasafaripark.com or give us a call at (540) 291-3205.
