Children & Teens Can Earn Prizes Reading This Summer

The Summer Reading Program starts May 31

May 26, 2016

The Summer Reading Program begins May 31st and continues through July 23 at the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library and they hope to keep families reading all throughout the summer!
When children sign up, they will choose a brag tag (from three designs) and a necklace or keychain.  Children can decorate their chain with beads they earn. Beads are earned by reading and different beads are worth different amounts.
Children that read 20 hours will receive a book, pass to the Frog Pond and ticket to a Salem Sox game!

Teens will receive a Bingo card when they sign up.  Teens that complete Bingo will be entered for a grand prize drawing of an Amazon Fire tablet!  All teens that turn in a completed Bingo sheet and three book reviews will receive a fine forgiveness voucher.
Programs are planned for all ages including some special performers Friends of the Library
funding makes possible! Performers include:

  • Dakota and Friends-a dinosaur show
  • Hampstead Theater presents The Wizard of Oz
  • Magician Professor Whizzpop
  • Farmer Minor and Daisy Pig

The Summer Reading Program would not be possible without the generous donations of our friends. Thank you for your continued support.
