Join us for a special author storytime with Virginia author Carylee Carrington! The first 20 participants will receive a FREE copy of one of her books.
Author Carylee Carrington lives in Northern Virginia with her two amazing boys, where she enjoys an active lifestyle. Originally from the island of Jamaica, she grew up in New York City, before making Northern Virginia her home. She is, to some, known as the “accidental author,” because this was not where she thought her path would lead. Though she loves writing, being a children’s author was the furthest thing from her mind. Ensuring that children have access to diverse literature, has become a mission that drives her as an author and advocate.
She will also be speaking to closed audiences at McHarg Elementary School and Radford University. This event was made possible by our partnership with Radford University's University Libraries, Teaching Resources Center, and College of Education and Human Development.
