Don't forget... we need your support! Supplies for Seniors Bagging Day is less than a week away, and we need all of the help we can get to make sure homebound seniors and veterans in our community are able to get their needs met.
Our Supplies for Seniors program coordinates with Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread, New River Valley Agency on Aging, and the Virginia Department of Veterans Service to identify homebound seniors and veterans in need within our community. Volunteer Montgomery then fundraises throughout the year to raise the money needed to purchase household items and supplies. These items are then bagged and delivered to our identified seniors and veterans.
This is where you come in!
This year we will be filling 230 bags to be delivered! Please consider donating some of your time to assist us with this endeavor. We will be at the Christiansburg Parks & Recreation Center, Jan. 24th, 10am - 2pm. Hope to see you there!
