Blacksburg Dance Theater

Join Blacksburg Dance Theater for joyful, holistic dance education all summer long! Our half-day camps for younger children incorporate dance instruction, outdoor play, and art projects, while our teen/tween choreography and technique intensive focuses on a variety of dance skills and creative expression. We will offer camps at two locations this year: All dance & nature camps in collaboration with the New River Land Trust will take place at Heritage Park, 2300 Glade Road. We will also offer more dance-intensive camps at the Blacksburg Dance Theater Studio, 1711 N. Main Street with occasional field trips.

Summer Camp Options:

Tween/Teen Technique Sampler & Choreography Intensive 

• Dates: June 10 - 14, 2024, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Ages: 10 - 17 

• Experience: Some dance experience recommended but not required. 

• Location: Blacksburg Dance Theater, 1711 North Main Street

• Cost: $300 per dancer (10% discount for sibling pairs)

Kids Morning Dance Camp #1

• Dates: July 8 - 12, 2024, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

• Ages: 4 - 10
