We offer several types of camping to meet your needs. Our overnight sites range from primitive tent campsites to full hookup RV campsites.  We also have yearly sites for recreational use and professional sites for people who are visiting the area for jobs, school, etc...   ATTENTION: WE DO NOT OFFER SEASONAL LOTS AND WE DO NOT HAVE CAMPSITES TO LIVE ON.

We are less than a 30 minute drive from Blacksburg, Virginia Tech and The Cascade Falls.

Prices: 5 person limit per site

  1. Primitive site: $20/night
  2. Electric only site: $25/night
  3. Electric and water: $40/night
  4. Full hookup: $50/night
  5. Cabin: $75/night
  6. Please call for yearly and professional site rates.

We have train tracks on both sides of the river and the trains can be loud. Most people consider it as part of the camping experience, but it does get noisy at night from time to time. The tunnel in this picture is across the river and the trains have to blow their horn before entering it.

The New River offers excellent fishing for smallmouth, muskie and catfish. We have ok bank fishing, but you would be better off floating. We do have a boat launch included with camping or $5 charge for just using our boat launch.

We are located a little over 4 miles from Rt. 460 and 8 miles from Rt. 100. Eggleston road is curvy at parts and drivers with bigger campers need to be advised. We frequently accommodate up to 42' fifth wheels, but we still like to warn people about the curves. We do not recommend any of the larger Class A motorhomes trying to make the trip. You will see a sign at both entrances onto Eggleston Rd. that says that the road is not recommended for tractor trailers.
