Meadow Ridge Stables is a locally owned and operated facility that offers equine services in an environment that is safe, welcoming, and fun. We offer quality field and stall board for horses. Our knowledgeable and professional staff provide a high standard of horse care so that our clientele feel confident and secure in the care of their horses.
Riding lesson instruction are available to riders of all levels and abilities in small groups and private lessons using well trained, safe horses that are available for students who do not have their own mounts. The same lesson options are also available for students who board their horses with us or who trailer in for lessons. Our instructors are friendly, experienced, creative and focused on the safety of our students; they use a variety of teaching techniques to help students progress to their full potential. We are proud to be a part of the strong community of horse enthusiasts in the New River Valley.

Mini Advanced Horse Lover's Camp (open to riders 9 and up)
June 18 - 20, 2024, 9 AM - 2:30 PM
This camp is geared toward riders with previous experience in regular lessons or with their own horses. A limited amount of school horses are available for use or you can bring your horse to get the most out of your camp experience! Riders will participate in one group lesson per day, and one horse management session, either featuring a special guest speaker or other activities. Overnight stabling available for an additional fee. *Extended hours available upon request/scheduling.

Adult Camp (open to riders 18 and up)

Join us Friday evening and during the day on Saturday for the return of our adult camp! This camp is designed to allow adult riders to either take a lesson working on specific goals, enjoy a trail ride, or to try something new that they've been wanting to do. We will contact everyone ahead of time to find out your interests. We will have some sort of fun art project. Dinner will be provided on Friday and lunch will be provided on Saturday. There will also be an additional bonfire after camp ends at 8pm on Friday!

Three Day Eventing Camp (open to riders 12 and up) Insanity in the Middle
July 23 - 25, 2024: 9 AM - 2:30 PM
Our three-day eventing camp is for youth and adults wanting to fine tune their eventing skills. Riders must be confident w/t/c, jumping 2' courses (green) up through training level. Please specify level and experience in your application so we can place riders in an appropriate group. Riders will do lessons in dressage, showjumping, cross country, as well as working on relevant horsemanship topics such as bandaging, cooling a horse out from cross country, conditioning and more. We'll work hard but have an insanely good time!
