A fun, high-energy camp that builds confidence (and burns energy!)
If you’re starting to map out summer plans and thinking, “I just need something to get my kids moving…”—this one is worth a look.
Blacksburg Boxing & Fitness is offering their kids summer camp again this year, and it’s a great option if you’ve got a kid who needs to burn energy, try something new, or just unplug for a few hours each day.
This isn’t one of those camps where kids are sitting around half the time. They are moving—and having a lot of fun doing it.
They’ll spend the week:
- Learning basic boxing skills (no experience needed!)
- Playing games like capture the flag, dodgeball, and tug-of-war
- Building strength, coordination, and stamina
- Gaining confidence in a really encouraging environment
It’s structured, but still feels like fun—not a workout they’ll dread.
A Few Things Parents Will Appreciate
- ✔️ Zero screens for the entire camp
- ✔️ A positive outlet for all that summer energy
- ✔️ Focus on confidence and self-control (not just fitness)
- ✔️ Welcoming for beginners—no pressure, no intimidation
And honestly, it’s a great option if you have a kid who might not be into traditional sports but still needs something active.

Don’t Wait Too Long on This One
This is one of those camps that tends to fill up once word gets around—especially at that early bird price.
If it sounds like a good fit for your kid, I’d go ahead and grab a spot sooner rather than later.

Camps like this that give kids a chance to try something new, build confidence, and come home feeling proud of themselves (and tired—in the best way).
If that sounds like what you’re looking for this summer, this might be a great fit for your crew.
