Some of the best summer memories start with dirt on your shoes, a campfire smell that sticks around for days, and kids coming home excited to tell you something they did all by themselves.
Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council camps give girls a chance to spend real time outside — trying new activities, making friends, and building confidence along the way. One of the nicest things for families who are curious: camp is open to non-Girl Scouts, so girls can try it out before deciding if they want to join.

Girl Scout camp has always been a little less about performance and more about experience — trying something new, meeting kids outside your usual circle, and heading home a little more confident than when the week started. For many families, it ends up being the camp they come back to year after year.
