Mike McGuire Basketball Camps at Radford University

Radford University’s Women’s Basketball Head Coach, Mike McGuire hosts summer youth basketball camps at the Dedmon Center on the Radford University campus. Radford Basketball coaching staff and student-athletes assist in the program, providing an educational and fun experience for all ages and abilities.  


2024 Programs Include: 

Kids Camp

Boys and Girls Rising 1st through 8th Graders  
The Radford Kids camp is designed for girls and boys in rising 1st through 8th graders interested in learning more about the fundamentals of basketball. Led by Head Coach Mike McGuire, campers will be taught fundamental and teamwork skills through a variety of drills and activities scheduled each day. Half and full-day options are available. Come spend a fun-filled week with the Radford coaches and team.

Elite Camp 

Girls Rising 8th thru 12th graders
Our Elite Camp is designed to provide a detailed experience about what it takes to compete and be successful at the Division I level.  Campers will be instructed on collegiate level drills, game situations, and will learn about the life of a college student-athlete. Campers will be instructed by the Radford Women's Basketball coaching staff and will learn valuable college information from Radford Women's Basketball student-athletes.
ELITE CAMP I -06/30/24 One Day Event

Head coach Mike McGuire is in his 11th season at the helm of the Radford women’s basketball program. McGuire quickly laid a solid foundation when he arrived at Radford. With an overall record of 163-138-121 (.542). McGuire owns the third-best winning percentage of any coach in program history. McGuire has been recognized three times as the Big South Coach of the Year, and is recognized as one of the up-and-coming head coaches in the nation.
