This is an opportunity that combines literature, art, and drama! Each week, we will discuss chapters read at home, do an active exercise themed to the book, read a bit more of the upcoming chapter/s, and do a hands on art activity also themed to the story.
This Book Club is brought to by April and Joelle. April taught 5th grade for 16 years, and currently owns and operates the Art Factory in Blacksburg. Joelle has taught theatre, and held Storytime with Joelle, in the NRV since 2009. Both ladies are SUPER excited to team with The Lyric, and other businesses, to bring the excitement of reading to your family.
The Book Club meets for 4 Fridays, and culminates on the Saturday following the last meeting (Feb. 24th) for a special viewing of the movie our book is based on. All movies made possible by our wonderful movie sponsor, Waterstone Mortgage! Thank you!
