Many people in our equestrian community have been lucky to get to know Travis Miller and Emily Phillips. Travis is a well respected Farrier and Emily is a beloved 2nd grade teacher at Giles Public Schools who competes in our area eventing shows. Travis and Emily are both positive and supportive members of our community.
In early November, Travis was diagnosed with a Cavernous Malformation (a group of abnormal blood vessels) in his spine. This malformation caused him to lose all function and sense below the waist. Travis underwent surgery, and the Cavernous Malformation was successfully removed. The next 6 months will be critical to providing information about his functionality as a result of the surgery.
To help support Travis and Emily with growing medical expenses, please join us at Meadow Ridge Stables on Saturday, December 9th for a Benefit Show. All proceeds will go directly to Travis and Emily.
