Our third annual 5K & FUN RUN ‘23 will be held this year on September 30th. Our 5K & Fun Run is a sponsored event to support the Wonder Universe. All proceeds will go to holding the event and operational costs of the museum.
This event will take place on September 30th, 2023 at Uptown Christiansburg Mall Trailhead, Huckleberry Trail starting at 8 AM.
5K Details:
- $10 per registrant
- Free t-shirt for each registrant
- starts at the Uptown Christiansburg Mall trailhead and loops at Coal Miner’s Trailhead (near Merrimac Road)
- Race check in begins at 8 AM
- Race starts at 9 AM
- Dog friendly (on leash only)
FUN RUN Details:
- $5 per registrant
- Children under 3 are free
- stroller friendly
- Dog friendly (on leash only)
- Race check in begins at 9:30 AM
- Race starts at 10:30 AM
- One mile long loop
Other Details:
- Restrooms are available at the NRCC entrance of the mall.
- Parking is available at the Uptown Christiansburg Mall Trailhead.
- Early T-shirt registration (guarantee your shirt size) ends on September 18th. - Registration will go until the race starts
- All ticket purchasers must be 18+
