Sinkland Farms Annual Pumpkin Festival Returns 09.29.2023 - 10.29.2023

{WIN A FAMILY 4 PACK}

September 6, 2023

It's easy to see why Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival has been voted #1 in the Commonwealth of Virginia year-after-year by Virginia Tourism.

Sinkland Farms 32nd Annual Pumpkin Festival opens September 29rd and runs through October 29th. Visiting the farm's picture-perfect, rolling fields is an annual family tradition for many Southwest Virginia families. The festival offers fun and activities for kids of all ages, including the grown up ones!

Kids love visiting the farm animals, meeting a live scarecrow and riding the mechanical bull.  There are also several activities in the Kidz Zone. The favorite, of course, is taking the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your GREAT pumpkin. Other features include a 5 acre corn maze, large farm animal viewing barn, pony rides, horseback trail rides, face painting, and our super-mega ride-n-slide.

Setting itself apart from other pumpkin patches, Sinkland Farms makes sure to gear farm fun to adults of all ages. Tastings of Virginia wines and craft beer from the farm are available each day, along with a packed schedule of live music. You can also enjoy live music Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 4 PM. This music is included with the festival and is seperate from our Friday Fall Concert Series. Chainsaw carving, corn shelling, and the blacksmith exhibitions draw big crowds. Visitors can also enjoy the multitude of arts and crafts vendors. Featured local artists visit every weekend to display and demonstrate their craft. All this along with so many opportunities for family photographs on the picturesque farm.

We are excited to announce that we will have our first Super Hero Day this Fall on Saturday, October 28, and we can't wait to see your costumes and superpowers!!!

Meet us at the Ice Cream Shoppe at 2pm and show us those super powers. Our judges will be picking their top three costumes. Winners get a prize pack from Blacksburg Boxing valued over $50 (super hero backpacks full of swag with free admission to Blacksburg Boxing for one month). Judges are Kevin Bowen of Blacksburg Fitness and talented graphic designer Jonathan Rose.

Included with Pumpkin Festival Admission! Gearheads For A Cause will be having a Car, Truck, & Bike Event Fundraiser! Classics, Rat Rods, Modern, Motorcycles, Trucks both lifted or on air suspension as well some awesome Jeeps on Sunday, October 29.
