On August 26, 2023, experience art at a free community celebration at Virginia Tech’s Moss Arts Center with hands-on activities for all ages, community performances, music making, story time for kids, learning opportunities, giveaways, food trucks, and more.
This year marks the Moss Arts Center’s 10th anniversary, and this event celebrates the community that has been a vital part of the center’s history and future.
Open House: 3 - 5 PM

Free Outdoor Concert
The celebration culminates at 5:00 PM in a free outdoor concert by the Grammy-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers, whose modern, high-energy Cajun and Creole sound is sure to get you moving.

Parking is available in the North End Parking Garage at 300 Turner Street. Visitors may park in the garage by taking a ticket at entry and paying with Visa or Mastercard upon exit. Virginia Tech has also partnered with ParkMobile to provide a convenient, contactless electronic payment option for parking, which may be used at any parking meter, campus parking space, or lot with standard F/S, C/G, or R parking.
Convenient parking is also available in Downtown Blacksburg.
