Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience 40 countries in one day?
The 62nd International Street Fair will take place on April 23, 2023, from 12:00 Noon -6:00 PM on Alumni Mall at Virginia Tech.
At the 62nd International Street Fair you will have a chance to do just that! Learn about customs and traditions from international and cultural student organizations here at Virginia Tech. Visit the booths and be transported to countries with demonstrations, cultural displays, music, and displays of beautiful traditional wear. There will be interactive presentations from international groups, traditional games, arts, crafts, and other items available for purchase from the students. Children of all ages can participate in hands-on activities in the Global Kids Zone.
Come out and help us to make this the best street fair yet! The International Street Fair will begin with a procession of nations. Representatives from each participating student organization will carry the flag of the country or countries their organization celebrates. Watch cultural performances with dancers, singers, and other talented instrumental artists present on our big stage just in front of Torgersen Bridge.
Be sure to come hungry and taste the delicious food for purchase from an assortment of international food trucks that will be on site.
