Happy Thursday, we hope you are having a great week. I wanted to take a minute to thank all of our subscribers for being loyal Macaroni KID New River Valley readers. We take great pride in being your local resource for family fun. We had planned to have our Shop Local & Holiday Services guide available today, however I had to have surgery and recovery has not gone as we hoped. It will be on the website by the end of the weekend and will also be included in the next Newsletter.
My son turned 16 yesterday, we celebrated by having a few friends over (since schools closed) then a surprise dinner for him with family and friends. For as many people that knew we were having him a party, I'm very shocked that nobody told him and he only found out when we arrived at the restaurant. I find it hard to believe he is 16 years old and will be an adult in two years.
