Dear Friend of the Arts,
My name is Casey Worley, and I’m proud to be Director of the Bobcat Theatre Company at Radford High School and Dalton Intermediate, where I have the pleasure of working with a dedicated and passionate group of theatre student artists. Our program is affiliated with the distinguished International Thespian Society, an organization that honors student achievement in theatre. We depend on community support to fund our performances and our community outreach programming. With that said, I’m writing to ask you to consider sponsorship, advertising, or donating to BTC, so that we can continue bringing the community together to celebrate theatre arts, and to showcase the hard-work and talents of our student artists.
To give you an idea of our program’s reach, we typically have 50-70 students involved in a single show, that is a large portion of our small student population. This year, we will be producing 2 musicals, our competition one act and one non musical. The cost for these productions adds up and eats into our small budget (Example - the rights for our production of Addams Family alone are $3500, before we start building any sets and costumes), thus any support from community members helps.
