Even after school starts, there are plenty of opportunities to incorporate art and creativity into your routine! We've rounded up a few of our favorite family-friendly Wine and Design events and options that you won't want to miss.
Art Buzz Kids Events
Our Art Experts are passionate about cultivating a fun, interactive setting where kids feel inspired to create, explore, and feel proud of their work. Art Buzz Kids events are fun painting parties that are fun and memorable.
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, need an after-school activity, or getting together with friends, the Wine and Design Art Experts provide all the materials and expertise. Class leaders will guide kids through age-appropriate classes that foster creativity and fun. Everyone will take home their own masterpiece.
Art Buzz Kids events are a great way to cultivate your little Picasso's creativity and confidence without cleaning up any mess in your home–everyone wins! Every Art Buzz Kids class is suitable for little artists of all ages and skill levels with kid-friendly themes and designs.
ABK Family Nights
The Wine and Design team also added Art Buzz Kids Family Nights to the calendar of events. These are public classes the whole family will enjoy. Family Nights are great opportunities to relax, enjoy an activity together, and create beautiful memories–no artistic talent required! Kids must be at least 5 years of age.
No alcoholic beverages are served at our Family Nights. The Wine and Design Art Experts offer fun, family-friendly paint themes everyone will love. You'll walk through a step-by-step process to create your own masterpiece. From name graffiti art to a "be kind sloth," there are loads of fun themes to choose from.

ABK Family Day Open Studios
Did you know that art can be an effective self-care strategy? It's a great way to de-stress, relax, and spend time with the people you love. Wine and Design Family Day Open Studios are designed with those goals in mind.
At Family Fun Open Studios, adults can choose from the Open Studios drop box, and kids select painting options from the ABK drop box. Each canvas is pre-traced so participants can work on the designs of their choice with guidance–it's the best of both worlds! Of course, the Art Experts can also provide a blank canvas if that's what you prefer.
Family Fun Open Studios are ideal for families of all ages and will surely be memorable. It's a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon–no need to save art for "special occasions"!
No School 1-Day Camp
When Montgomery County Public Schools are out, there's no need to park in front of the tv all day! The Wine and Design Art Fun Experts are excited to host "No School 1-Day Camps," where budding Picassos can enjoy painting, arts and crafts, and fun with friends.
Each "No School Day Camp" will have a different seasonal theme. The camp staff masterfully cultivates a fun, stimulating, and appropriately challenging environment where kids can explore, create, and express themselves.
The "No School Day Camps" offer 7 hours of art-inspired fun for school-age kids. Sign up for more than one camp day for a discount and ensure your little Rembrandt doesn't miss any fun themes this school year!
Take-Home Kits for the Whole Family
Wine and Design has loads of fun, creative take-home kits to enjoy at your own pace. From door hangers and holiday decor to "Mommy-and-me" paint kits, there's something for everyone. Simply order in advance and pick up all the supplies at our Wine and Design NRV location.
Take-home kits are perfect for self-care, date night, friends' night, or family night. Each kit includes pre-sketched canvases or other supplies, paints, disposable aprons, brushes, painting tips and tricks, paper plates, and napkins.
The Wine and Design crew also teamed up with Domino's NRV to offer a slam-dunk Paint and Pizza kit! Order your paint kit for the whole family and get a gift certificate from Domino's NRV for a Large 5-topping pizza!
