Teen Connections empowers youth with the facts when it comes to teenage pregnancy prevention and STI transmission, as well as builds important life & leadership skills such as communicating boundaries and how to have healthy relationships. Programs are offered separately for middle and high school age students. Students graduate from the program as Peer Educators and are invited to continue participating as Teen Connections Alumni, meeting during the course of the year for monthly meetings, volunteer events, and other activities in the local community. Students who graduate from the Teen Connections program receive a $100 stipend thanks to funding from the Virginia Department of Health!
