The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center is preparing to welcome the holiday season, including the popular Fashions for Evergreens decorated tree contest.
Now in its 16th year, the annual competition will feature themed trees decorated by 15 local businesses and organizations.
Trees will remain on display at the inn through Jan. 2. “Each year, our foyer’s creatively designed trees present awe-inspiring decorating ideas in an extraordinary display.
Holiday Carolers From 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 17, The Inn will host the Blacksburg High School Madrigals who will perform holiday carols. This year, The Inn is scaling back some of its other traditional holiday offerings. The inn will be closed for seven days beginning Dec. 23, reopening on Dec. 30. This will allow for property upgrades and system improvements to be completed.
