The YMCA Annual Craft Fair has Gone Virtual

Celebrating 51 years of Supporting Our Community

By Macaroni Kid New River Valley November 3, 2020

Celebrating 51 years, the Annual YMCA Craft Fair is going virtual, offering you the opportunity to purchase unique, original, and beautiful handcrafted gifts for everyone on your shopping list. Although we won’t be gathering in person, we will provide a celebration of the things that make the Y Craft Fair so special – arts, crafts, great gifts, music, dance, stories, community and more in this exciting online format.

Starting November 12, 2020, we will host a variety of ways to support our vendors, coming together, virtually, as a community. There is a virtual artist market for shopping, coupons for local businesses, streaming content including live music, dance and more! The event will remain live through December 31st offering you the opportunity to pop back and purchase more beautifully crafted gifts for friends, family or just for yourself!

We have more than 40 amazing local, regional and national artisans who are busy preparing their virtual stores for you. Artisans will have the ability through this platform to interact with customers with live chat, videos of the artists at work, and beautiful photographs. Favorite vendors from past years including Poplar Hills Alpaca Farm & Studio, Bohicket Apothecary and Anvil, Fire & Time jewelry will be participating in this online event and will be joined by artisans from all over the country.

Our interactive entertainment schedule is growing daily with scheduled performances from PanJammers, Mixed Emotions (VT A Cappella group), Storytime with Joelle, Read Aloud with Miss Rosso, information from groups including the AARP, performances from Dance Tech and so much more.

We really are so thrilled to invite the community to join us for the 51st annual Craft Fair in this virtual format, until we can celebrate together again in person. Please check out the event on this preview link and mark the date on your calendar, November 12 to start, or finish your shopping at the event!
