The Sinkland Farms Annual Pumpkin Festival runs through November 1st. Visiting the farm’s picture-perfect, rolling fields is an annual family tradition for many Southwest Virginia families, which offers fun and activities for all ages. If you have not yet been this season, there is still plenty of time, and we have 4 tickets to give away for a lucky subscriber this week!
The kids will love visiting the farm animals, meeting a live scarecrow and the 10-foot tall Pumpkin Head Tron. There are also activities in the Kidz Zone. Your family can enjoy the wagon ride to the patch to pick your GREAT pumpkin, and other activities include a 5-acre corn maze, pony rides, horseback trail rides, and a Giant Slide enticing to all ages. The Zip Line for Kids, Bad Axe throwing station, and pig sprints are back this year for all to enjoy every Saturday and Sunday.

Setting itself apart from other pumpkin patches, Sinkland Farms makes sure to gear farm fun to adults of all ages. Tastings of Virginia wines and craft beer from the farm are available each day, along with a packed schedule of live music. We boast two stages for twelve days featuring twenty-four live music shows, all included with admission to the festival. Chainsaw carving, corn shelling, blacksmith, and lasso exhibitions are among the multitude of arts and crafts vendors. Featured local artists visit every weekend to display and demonstrate their craft. You'll find many opportunities for family photographs on this picturesque farm!

Admission to the farm includes parking, live music, demonstrations, roaming entertainment, the farmyard animal barn, a hayride, corn maze, arts & crafts vendor lane, plus extra attractions that change each weekend. See the complete schedule here.
Attending the Pumpkin Festival
- Every Thursday and Friday, Sinkland Farms will be open from 4-8 p.m. with limited attractions for a reduced ticket price of $7.
- Saturday hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Weekend admission is $10
- Seniors and members of the U.S. Armed Forces receive a discount and children under the age of two are free.
- Due to Covid-19, attendance will be limited to 1,000 guests at a time. Purchase your tickets in advance by visiting the Sinkland Farms calendar, and clicking on the date you would like to attend.

Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival COVID-19 Statement
Due to COVID-19 and CDC recommendations, our festival may look a little different this year. BUT, please don’t let this year go by without your annual family tradition. We greatly appreciate your support and patience as we make Sinkland Farms as safe as possible for all guests. As an outdoor and open-air facility, we feel that if all follow the guidelines listed below, we will ensure our goal of fun and safety.
- By law, we are allowing only 1000 people on the farm at a time. We will monitor this. The Farmstead Barn will be limited to 100 people inside.
- The retail shop will not be open this year, but we will serve ice cream and beverages from our windows.
- No one with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19, or known exposure to a COVID-19 case prior 14 days, is permitted on the property.
- Maintain 6 feet of social distancing.
- Wear a mask over your nose and mouth when in close contact with others such as when waiting in lines.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and sanitize your hands. There will be plenty of trash receptacles and sanitizer stations on the property.
- Use hand sanitizer after touching objects.
- Tickets for the festival can be prepaid to alleviate standing in line. There will also be cash tickets at our admission stations.
