Looking for some active fun while serving your community? The 2020 Race for ACCE will be held virtually from Friday, August 7th until Sunday, August 9th and registration is open.
To register for the Race for ACCE 5K or the Children’s Fun Run use the online form. Registration includes a race t-shirt, and those who register by July 8th will have their t-shirt by race weekend ( choose to have shirts shipped or picked up in Blacksburg during race week).
All registrants will receive an email during race week with shirt pick up details and a link to a google form where finish times can be reported. All age group first place winners will receive a medal. All children who submit a fun mile time will be entered to win one of ten raffle prizes!
All proceeds will benefit ACCE, which is a public/private partnership that makes college available tuition-free to as many MCPS graduates as possible who meet the criteria. for ACCE provides scholarships for Montgomery County high school graduates to attend New River Community College. Participating students must complete 80 community service hours each year and maintain a 2.5 GPA in their NRCC coursework.
