Shared Paint Parties Create Family Bonds
Looking for opportunities to create new, family memories while also sharing artistic experiences with your child? Then check out Art Buzz Kids Christiansburg’s new series of toddler/parent classes as well as its ongoing series of Mommy & Me / Daddy & Me classes.
- For the toddler art classes, each class begins with a story and theme for the day. Then the parent and toddler are invited to participate in a series of activities that encourage the child’s imaginative play, that immerse the child in the creative process, and that build the child’s artistic confidence.
- For the Mommy & Me / Daddy & Me classes, the parent and the child each complete half of a canvas painting. And… when the two halves of the painting are displayed side-by-side, the two halves combine to create a single image--one that reinforces both the familial and the artistic bond between the parent and the child.
