Keeping your children active during the winter months can sometimes be a challenge. But most often you can have just as much fun outside during the winter as you do in the summer months.
The Winterplace Ski Resort SkiWee program is a great way to keep your children moving and learn a new sport that they will love for years to come. SkiWee is a really big, fun time for the youngest skiers and riders in the family. This specialized instructional program provides the best learning environment for children to learn to ski and snowboard. SkiWee uses a group format dividing children by age and ability. Group sizes range from 4-8 children per instructor, and the program is appropriate for children ages 4-11 years of age (children younger than 4 years of age usually do not have the stamina, coordination or the attention span to begin learning how to ski properly). SkiWee emphasizes having fun while learning; we want your child to love the sport! Half and Full Day SkiWee Programs are available, and reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance. Lift tickets, equipment rental, supervision, instruction, lunch, snacks and LOTS OF FUN are included in SkiWee pricing.
