Happy holidays neighbors! The students are leaving for the semester break, schools will be out Friday, and in my house we are ready for Christmas. We've been baking, watching movies and making ornaments and all of us are excited to see family and friends we've not seen in too long. Our holidays will include some travel, and I can't wait to eat Italian on Federal Hill in Providence and the kids are hoping Uncle Lance will have some serious snow in New Hampshire. If you've been reading NRV Macaroni Kid a while, you may remember that one year Aunt Jody gave The Boy fart bombs for Christmas (perfect 9 yo boy gift) and there was an unfortunate incident involving the bomb, the car, and my husband's leather coat, which made the trip rather unpleasant for about 1,000 miles.
