Around the Valley

December 1, 2016

Hi neighbors! Today is the first day of December, and for many of us that means the month is about to get seriously busy. There are holiday parties and school events, shopping, baking and travel. And if all that isn't enough, that creepy elf showed up at my house again, which frankly stresses me out ( if you have one too, find inspiration on our Pinterest boards). I was hoping Santa would send him somewhere else, but no luck.

I want to suggest you to schedule some "Me Time" this month. Plan to meet a friend for coffee, book a sitter or use one of our local businesses that offer children's drop off activities including Virginia Technigues (all ages) and Romp N Roll (ages 2-6 )  to allow you to shop in peace, book a massage or whatever it is that helps you enjoy the season.  You're worth it!  This week inside NRV Macaroni Kid:
