Around The Valley

October 20, 2016
Wasn't it a beautiful weekend neighbors?  Did you get outside and enjoy that weather? I love this time of year's warm sunny days and cool nights. My trees are just starting to turn orange and it's gorgeous! I finally broke down and bought pumpkin spice coffee, and was put further in the spirit of the season when my family enjoyed our annual trip to the Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival. In addition to the usual bands in the barn, there were a lot of strolling artists and musicians this year which was fun. My daughter and I rode two of the many rescue horses from Winterfrost Farms. Riding a horse always scares me to death, but its good to go outside your comfort zone, right? And it's for a great cause, too!

I'm headed off for some new adventures this weekend in Park City, Utah.  I'll be meeting up with 100+ other Macaroni Kid Publishers, and the agenda includes visiting Olympic Park for some active fun. Follow along with us on Twitter and Instagram!  Meanwhile here there are tons of local events and ways to enjoy time with your family here in the NRV.  Jump to the calendar here.
