The Strengthening Families Program

A FREE program for families now starting in Christiansburg and Floyd

February 4, 2016
NRVCS (New River Valley Community Services) is offering a FREE parenting program called  The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) in both Montgomery and Floyd Counties starting the first week in February. (SFP) is a weekly, three-part program in which parents learn new parenting skills, children learn skills which enable them
to be more resilient, and families come together to take part in a fun learning activity.
SFP is a time for families to eat dinner together, learn new things, and have a good time with each other. Participating families work together to make life more enjoyable for every member of the family. There is no fee to participate in the Strengthening Families Program, but you must pre-register.
